Have you yet figured out when you are in and out of psychosis? When I was 15/16 my Aunty died suddenly and unexpectedly, she also had bipolar like me. This paired with the fact that for my English GCSES we had to watch Nightmare on Elm Street. Everytime I am in physchosis I heard the theme tune in my head and genuinely feel like Freddie is coming to kill me. what hurts and upsets me more than anything is that no one (including drs) believe me when I say it's scary. They laugh it off

@toebeabs I also feel like it's kind of brushed under the rug. Now I don't want the days to come back where everyone is hushed into an asylum but I hate how the only support is "call crisis team" and a crisis team have to offer is "have you had a cuppa and a warm bubble bath"

Ugh I f*cking get this, I was also 16 when I first experienced psychosis, I also lost a family at the same time, I didn't really have any scary delusions or hallucinations just when it ended and I was coming down what was scary was that everything was moving so fast and my brain couldn't stop that I was calling everyone I knew crying that it wouldn't stop and everyone was like?? What are you talking about and just acted like I was crazy and it felt so invalidating like I was just acting up im so sorry you had to go through that
