Hi everyone. I struggle with a partial phobia called onomatophobia, which is the fear of certain words. for me it's pretty much every slang word people use for people's genitals, usually people say them in the form of insults. I've dealt with this since I was a child and it makes trying to have a social life impossible and has effected my relationship with my SO a lot. he's had to filter a lot of what he might normally say, and we often can't watch movies with those words in it which can make finding things to watch a bit difficult. essentially I just feel very alone with this and need some friends who potentially have similar issues. thanks for reading! I appreciate any feedback.
