What do I do when I’m too depressed to enjoy anything? I wanna get back into practicing the guitar but every time I pick it up I think to myself, “I’m lonely.” And I put it back down again. It’s been many months of this. And when I push it feels like torture. When I’m doing mentally well the guitar is the first place I go. I genuinely enjoy practicing when I’m okay. Does anyone have any tips?

im also trying to figure this out. the same thing happens to me with reading (carrying a book with me everywhere doesnt do shit). i cant offer advice, but i can hopefully help you feel a little less alone. they say nothing lasts forever — wishing the best for both of us.

Loneliness sucks and it's all consuming!!!

I've been struggling with the feeling of loneliness too! It's like a consuming feeling! I grew up mostly being alone as my older siblings were always with their friends and I was told I was too little. So I really got into playing with my dolls and My Little Ponies.
