Anyone else not have a single clue what to do for a career? or have 10000 things that they love to do, but could never chose one to do for the rest of your life? I have a crazy amount of hobbies, and love to do all of them, but could never do one of them for a long period of time. I feel like I have no clear direction on where I want to go in life, and I'm really really struggling with that.

I used to think this way, and I'd constantly be in self sabotage mode at any of my jobs; I then reframed how I see the job I do day to day as a means to an end. I still enjoy my job and the people I work with, but I'm leading less with "I need to do something I'm passionate about!" and more with "My job gives me money so that I can fund my interests and side projects"... It's been super helpful! I feel more fulfilled in the last few years than I have in awhile. It helps that my job also has very different problems I need to solve on a silky basis, and isn't too repetitive and mundane. Any kind of data entry or repetitive task would have me so bored and it wouldn't last long.

Yeah this is a big struggle for me. I'm 39 and have tried to follow IT because computers always interested me. Even IT gets boring and what keeps me engaged is helping others. I also need body doubling.

I felt this way for the longest time and changed careers many times during college. I ended up going into psychology lol. I have many crafty hobbies but find helping people to be the most fulfilling way to spend my days. I would recommend thinking about your core values and finding a job that aligns with those values to help you feel fulfilled. Good luck ❤️

I'm the same way. I finally decided to become an author. I love to write and do research.

I'm the same way. But I found out that I'm good with helping people more then my other hobbies.

I legit call myself a jack of all trades because I can pick up anything but never be truly outstanding at anything. I've resorted to doing warehouse work because I believe I'll never find that one thing that clicks.
