I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder a while ago, but I think I was misdiagnosed. Nobody seems to listen to me when I tell them this. My mood changes drastically multiple times per day, as opposed to weekly or monthly like I understand Bipolar Disorder to be described as. I was diagnosed at a psychiatric hospital after the doctor asked me 2 questions about my mood. What should I do?

I agree it doesn’t hurt to get a second opinion. Also yes rapid cycling can happen. Go see a doctor

Personality disorders can be mistaken for bipolar and have rapid mood swings. Even in rapid cycling it means a new manic high or low within 6 months. A manic episode is 4-6 weeks minimum and is a huge misunderstanding
What do you believe you have ?? And it’s ok for a second opinion
