After being in excruciating severe pain from your back for more than 3 days and having to go to urgent care or ER for relief ? After the relief has settled does anyone deal with real bad depression and anxiety after being in pain for so long ?šŸ˜ž

The low back pain gives me terrible anxiety at times. It's crazy if I don't schedule my chiropractor appointments for the next week I get anxious.

Back pain is the worst. I live with pain daily. Sometime the meds I take for it affect my demeanor/mood. I know cyclobenzaprine makes me very depressed. Check the side affects of the meds you are taking & talk to your doctor about it. My doctor increased my zoloft to help counter the cyclobenzaprine affects.

I havent actually gone to either for back pain, mine will be so bad I cant walk and my last bad flare up lasted 2 months straight. Im constantly depressed that no one can seem to figure out why it keeps happening and what's actually causing it and I'm so anxious for when the next flare up is and how bad it'll be. Every back pain I feel makes me panic even though I have milder pain pretty much constantly anyways

Totally it's frustrating and overwhelming to deal with mind altering pain. It literally effects every aspect of your being. So it's normal to be down afterwards. I'm sure your drained in every way. I've been there many times. And it takes a day or two to recoup from that.

Totally have depression and anxiety related to the pain to be more specific with your question. Sorry

I've never had any luck at all going to the ER. Just end up with a huge bill I can't easily pay. I have severe back and joint pain I deal with every day due to a career in the fire service (super busy house) and playing rugby. Most of the time it's hard to get around and do anything. Putting socks or pants on every morning hurts. Still have to work two full time jobs just to barely get by. Not recommending it by any means but I self medicate a lot. This has led to other problems though, that's why I don't recommend it. Best of luck to you!

The ER/urgent care don't do anything for me unfortunately šŸ˜• I was in the ER on orders from my surgeon but if I walk in on my own without having my surgeon on my side running the show instead of the ER then I wouldn't get the care I needed. I go to UM

@Lmoney Iā€™m so sorry you donā€™t deserve that , no one does
