It depends on what you're paranoid about. Sometimes a breathing exercise can help. Other times making a list going through why this paranoia is possibly irrational works. Reading through the list, reality testing, square breaths. But some scenarios need a different approach. I hope this at least helps some. If you need more help I don't mind you messaging me. Good luck.

hiya, i probs shouldn't be on this app. i'm not childish before you ask i've matured enough to accept what comes. i'm 14 and i struggled a lot at the start and it was hard for me to do east day to day tasks that people say, but i have a dog honestly it's the best thing to take your mind off even if you're just sitting there together. my honest words to you is that you can do anything when you put your mind to it. if you have it while you're out so what 🤷🏼‍♂️ don't let it stop you from doing the things you love. if you ignore it and carry on, try not focus on it the. your brain learns that you don't care and it doesn't matter. your gonna have trip ups and scares in your life but you'll never learn if you don't know. also there are people around that can help if you ever feel too uncomfortable and can't deal with it alone. you've always got us to talk to and even strangers! when i first got it, it was the fright of my life. i was halfway across the country and in a town centre! and i'm nearly a year in and i've dealt with it i've ignored it that much my brain still tries to convince me somethings wrong but it's not. you're strong and we can get through this together. 💙

I also have bad paranoia! Like used to have it real bad trying to sleep, but since I've gotten a dog I have slept SO much better. I SHOULD have been on some anti-anxiety meds it was so bad. But I talked to a therapist and made some friends. But also doing tasks stops me from thinking like that or working out so I can focus on something else or simply tire myself out.

have u tried going out your comfort zone? talking to strangers? giving a compliment? seeing where it leads. asking them what they think of you their first impression?
