slipping up and relapsing is apart of recovery. i struggled with self harm throughout middle school and into my late teens. one day the urges will be so dull they’ll be like a small thin cloud passing through your thoughts instead of a thunderstorm. i’m rooting for you friend 🫂

I do it too. But try to talk to someone. I include dogs and cats. Sometimes just saying it out loud helps
@Stealthmode yes my dogs are my little therapists. 💕
@Cece7 lady (14 March 2006 to 06 December 2020) was my therapist. Ginger (born 12 June 2020) is in training. I taught her how to high five and shake.
You’re not the only one like that sweetie I suffer from it too and it’s not easy but what helps me is just doing my best not to think abt it and walk away from whatever may be causing me to feel like that
But it’s okay we all slip up sometimes depression is so hard you are loved!
I used to go through the same thing, but I figured out a way to stop it. I just went in the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and told myself, I am a goddess...I am the most beautiful person on the world, and I am a higher power than God, and well-hehe- I guess it worked
@Den_ce it’s actually funny because I think this is why my confidence is so high words of affirmation really do help before I get in the shower I always say I love my body
🫂 We all slip up sometimes. Try not to beat yourself up about it. Now, I don't know much about self harming other than what it is. But, I do know depression and what it does to me. Talking about it is a huge step. If you feel the urge to do it again, please reach out. Be it on here, a hotline, or someone you trust. Please know you are not alone. Something that helps me when I am down is the songs Life is Beautiful and Accidents Can Happen by Sixx AM. They have gotten me through a lot of bad days.
You are loved and appreciated I'm here for you❤️
