doctors have said my diagnosis was due to alot of stress and worry for a long period of time. turns out it was since 2010, right after a car accident I had as a kid. was never diagnosed as a child until 2020. can't get a colonoscopy, either. what's the best way at home to handle this situation?

This is a pretty clichet thing to say(and Im sorry for that) but finding out what foods you are sensitive to should help a lot. It took removing gluten, dairy, and eggs before I achieved remission from UC. Something that helped a lot was taking a hair analysis test to see what I could be sensitive to and using that as a starting point as opposed to trial and error from scratch(which i also did and was terribly painful and frustrating.) Whatever you end up doing, here's hoping it goes smoothly and gives you relief! Hugs!šŸ¤—

I was told stress and anxiety are a big cause that makes my uc/ibs/Crohn's worse and in order to feel better some or ever be in remission I have to get my mind calmed and relaxed in order for my stomach and body to even try to be more relaxed.
