Struggling to Find a Sleep Solution After Losing My Trusted Doctor

I took Ambien fairly regularly since 2003. worked like a dream for many years and slept for 8 hours straight after feeling a little groggy after awakening my energy picked up and had almost unlimited energy. stopped working as good around 7 years ago or so but switched to CR extended release and that worked great. switched to Temazepam in 2020 and that worked great at first but now getting maybe 5 hours now but can usually fall back asleep. problem is nowadays most doctors are extremely reluctant to prescribe any type of controlled substance. my doctor I'd had for over 20 years retired and one I got after him was terrible. didn't listen to my concerns and cut me off all controlled substances without even telling me just refused to refill prescriptions. have an extremely busy job and not much free time to look for the right doctor for me. feel like garbage most of time now. nothing really works like ambien did. if it's so bad why did I have the best years of my life and best sleep and energy when I took it? controlled substances have been given a bad rap and not everyone abuses them. sadly I tried buying some ambien over the internet and was so dumb that I actually believed the guy would send me 30 ambien when I used a $100 google play card. anyone know a legitimate place to buy ambien or other suggestions for sleep? tried melatonin, z quil, lavender body wash, unisom, cold meds, everything. still feel like garbage from only sleeping 4-5 hours every night. would like to try a few samples of Lunesta or that brand new on Quiviq but once again who the hell will prescribe it? not too many doctors who really understand me and solutions for sleeping is not a one size fits all thing. ambien worked for me and my old doctor understood.
