I actually when to my gyno and she started me in low dose birth control and my hot flushes are almost completely gone. I very rarely get them anymore. It's been awesome.

Get a bigger standup fan, light sheets. Use a cold humidifier may help. Low or no protein before bed meat beans and nuts make you run warm.

@Utahperson I didn't know about the protein, that's good to know because I'm on HRT and I still have night sweats

Yes, completely agree with the Hormone replacement therapy. Ask for bioidentical HRT it's going to be two medications estrogen and progesterone. I rarely have hot flashes any more. Life saver!

Hrt was my lifesaver,, still get occasional hot flush but nowhere near as bad . Fans - both upright & handheld- are extremely effective ❤️

May be down to the start of the menopause. It's treatable with HRT, and your doctor would be the best to help you too

I live in a dorm in florida so I can’t change the temp and it’s around 72 F in my room or higher. I invested in a nice tower fan with 3 settings. I also have a shitty desk fan aimed directly at my face. I occasionally sleep with ice packs or a cooling blanket. Love ice packs tho

@Beetlejuul Put ice packs behind the fans for extra cooling.

What temp is your room at night? Mine is usually 15-19°C, best temp for sleep is around 18°C. Keep a beach towel handy for lying on/drying off at night time. Eat well Drink enough water. For me with my outdoors job that's 2-3Litres every day Oct-Mar and as the weather warms, up to 6L per day. Sounds a lot? Only 500mg every ½ hour... Also wear loose-fitting, nonsynthetic clothing. I've actually stopped wearing bra etc. Feels comfortable and less sweaty. Maintain good hygiene and visit the Dr is you're at all concerned
