I just want to be present for my daughter and I spend alot of time in bed. What can I do to be there for her more?

When I am bed bound I tell her to grab her toys to be in bed with me and her tablet too so I know she's close. I let her grab whatever snacks she wants before I get up.. I just feel so bad not being the mom who gets right up and cooks Chocolate chip pancakes with fresh squeezed orange juice and gets ready for the day. I physically can't be that mom 😪

If your unable to get out of bed try activities like movies, board games, or if shes young have her bring her toys and play with her, read to her, but explain to her your issues, my mother always left me in the dark, i hope you get through this

What about taking medication that will help you get through the day and maybe increase your willingness to go out of bed? Nevertheless don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you're doing the best you can!

Be careful with Vitamin D. It can help improve your mood, but taking too much can cause you to feel really bad. Look up Vitamin D toxicity. I only speak from experience.

Vitamin d. At least 5000 iu. No 1000 crap. Your morning begins the night before. Plan your morning and set everything up at night. Wash your face, brush your teeth, put on comfy night clothes. Have your morning planned, including treats for yourself. Bribing yourself out of bed works! I uave major issue waking up. I do best when I have something to wake up to.

I had to cut all sugar, caffeine, and drinks with b vitamins out because I couldn't handle the side effects😥

Get the help you need. If not for you, then for your daughter. Therapy, meds, other treatments, whatever you need to get you to your goals.

Are you seeing a doctor that is willing to help you find the right medication to help? Also check Vitamin D levels. Vitamin B is also a good side, and sunshine with fresh air. That's what I do and the last year I have more present for children than I ever was before.
