Existential Anxiety: Feeling Anxious About Existing

I've noticed that I've recently been anxious with just the idea of existing. I get anxious just knowing that I have a first person view of the world. I dont understand why having a first person view of everything makes me so anxious now. Has anyone else been feeling this was recently?

      This is one of my biggest struggles with my anxiety! Before I was on medication, it was so bad I couldn't get out of bed some days. I think the reason it causes so much anxiety for me personally, is because it's a lot for a brain to process. It's not something people really think about on a day to day basis, so it can be scary realizing that you're a whole person who lives a life and exists in other people's lives.

        @SRayn it sucks because my anxiety med doesnt seem to work for this type of situation. it works for everything else but not the overwhelming feeling of.. idk how to even describe it lol

          @Len it could definitely be something else causing the feeling other than what your anxiety med covers. I take 2 different antidepressants because neither work on their own 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I totally get it, it's basically impossible to describe what most people don't even consider
