Have you gotten a gene test done? This could really help in eliminating trying more meds that won’t help you. I had tried 11 meds before I got a gene test done and it really gave me insight into what medications I should avoid and what classes of medications I can avoid. Klonopin is the only medication I can tolerate and that helps me besides Lamictal which is not really for anxiety or panic disorder so if worse comes to worse maybe benzos are the only thing that helps you— that is primarily the case with me.
Propranolol would be a good start. It'll help calm the physical effects of anxiety so it stops the whole fight-or-flight mode. I also highly recommend a good massage. I hold my tension in my neck and shoulders so bad itll give me migraines if I dont get those muscles loosened every other month or so. Ive noticed for a while afterwards I am a lot less anxious and a lot more tolerant. Which makes sense, if our body is tense then so is our mind. Its all tied together
👍I've been hearing that it has helped a lot of people
🙏Xanax was the only thing that really helped me too! But then I moved from Texas from my original psychiatrist that knew me and perceived an adequate amount… to Florida and doctors that thought I was just a pill seeker. I finally found a dr that understands me but is legally not allowed to prescribe has recommended medical marijuana because thankfully it’s legal here, I don’t know if it is where you live but if you are able to get it it might be as good for you as it has been for me 😊
Thank you I'll pass it by my Dr. I'm just so tired of suffering
Propranolol doesn’t have any effect on your anxiety but prevents 100% of panic attacks which has a calming effect- knowing you won’t have to go through that. It keeps your heart rate low as well. Wishing you the best.
