With a previous diagnosis of chronic kidney disease has anyone been diagnosed with a "large mass"on a kidney; and therefore had a kidney removed in order to remove the cancerous mass? Now living with only one kidney, which still is affected by chronic kidney disease.

I have stage 4 kidney cancer. Lost my left kidney completely. Had a couple spots near my right one. Been 2 years now. Doing good

Thank you Bob60!! So far, I'm doing well. And I really don't miss that kidney!! I'm just a bit overly cautious!!

Hi! I had a mass that was followed for years before I had it removed, it turned out to be cancerous, but it didn't do anything for a few years. Anyway, you can live ok with one kidney :-)
