Honestly I couldn't get it through a day without my medication I don't have my ketamine I am out of my mind but that's just me my health is crap but if I was to recommend another idea to get through a day with anxiety I would say deep breaths lots of love and care from family and any pets if you have any and to celebrate any small wins for yourself or any holidays with people you love and care about and they care about that makes a hell of a difference if you have that

Treat yourself like a woundes animal or a child. Best advice ive ever found. When youre getting overwhelmed just gently shush your mind and like.. mentally speak to yourself like youre a toddler that just hurt itself. Like "shhhhh sh its okay, youre okay here lets give you a booboo kiss okay? There you go, its okay"

I take Geodon and amitriptyline for meds but the true help that I get is from God. I prayed to be healed and I firmly believe God has healed me with both medications and his mighty hand. I will pray for you. šŸ¤—

I was never diagnosed with anxiety so I really am not sure what to do?

@queo My Primary care doctor helped once I explained what was wrong. She put me on medication and therapy if I wanted it. I took the medicine route since I can't get my car working yet and I work full time.

I'm on a few different meds to control it, multiple as needed anti-anxiety meds in my pocket to use depending on the situation. But I do prefer to use other coping skills to help first. Meditation, yoga/movement, grounding/using senses to pull me to the present (touch such as pinch or snapping a rubber band on my wrist gently, a soft thing in hand, fidget toy etc.; smell such as lavender or chamomile, Taste-mint gum (also touch) etc. etc. I find the more I combine or the more challenging I make it within reason to be helpful in tough times. Talking to people is sometimes helpful, as can be removing myself from the situation if possible.

I'm on a few different medications that help with my physical symptoms like gagging, shaking, or hyperventilating and for the mental part I like to daydream a lot and get really into escapist media even if it's not exactly healthy.

Zoloft and weed help mellow out my emotional mood swings. I can come across to some like a grown child. It helps. Welcome to talk to me about my anxiety, depression, and Medication problems. Mint leaves and gum are great for those times when I've over smoked trying to fix my nerves and upset stomach.
