Trying out a new meditation practice

Just started daily guided imagery, paced breathing, and light stretching for my ME/CFS and can't tell if it's having good effects already or if I'm just having a really good symptom day lol, good days have been so few for me lately, feels nice Anyways definitely recommend these so far, calming the nervous system is a big part of symptom management for everyone with central sensitization 😊✨

I have trouble trying to put away negative thoughts in my mind. I’ve been trying meditation lately but I just can’t let go. It’s like a habit.

today is my day off and I am busy helping family out. I think I got a good night sleep I don't know cause I got up in the middle of the night again for the 6th time. My cat has been staying with me since I came home from the hospital and my friend came over last night and we had a good time talking. We have been friends since middle school so we go back for years. I am trying mindfulness but it is not easy at first and my counselor wants me to keep at it so I can get use to it. Hopefully I will in time I guess it takes time and practice.
