My depression was caused by something that happened, which I want to keep confidential to myself. I look at my only way out being if I get something just right to happen. I open the path to make it literally possible every single day, but it never works. I have been experiencing this for almost 10 months. I take the medication already shared on my profile. I originally take it for epilepsy, but my psychiatric nurse increased my dose because of my depression. I look at that as an impossible way out of my depression. Am I the only one who has this kind of experience?

I noticed we share 2 meds. I also take Remeron, for depression. That was a real game changer for me. If you're a candidate, I recommend trying it. I recently had mine increased and all of my symptoms have significantly reduced.

@HowPow I looked just now and it says we share 2 conditions, not medications.

My depression really started in earnest at the beginning of covid when I went from 3 jobs I loved, to staying home every day. I got it under control with meds, but then I witnessed a fatal accident where a baby was killed in front of me...lost my mind after that, increased dosage of depression and anxiety meds, and added an as needed med. After I got leveled out I no longer feel like everything has to be just so. I sure did before though!!! What does your dr say? Do you feel like you're needing a med change or increase? I was very resistant to an increase, but honestly it saved my life.

@MamaFG my doctor says I could start a different medication for depression if I feel I need it. I will only do this if I really have something that went significantly wrong with me.
