Does anyone have tips for managing fatigue with school/work? I'm doing part-time school with a 504 plan, but even coming home after three hours make me feel terrible, and I fall asleep almost instantly because I'm so exhausted. (But despite being so exhausted all the time, I have trouble sleeping at night!!) And I never get restorative sleep which doesn't help.

I went through the same thing when I carried on working part time. It took all my energy and in the end I was advised to stop until I could manage my symptoms. Do you have much longer of school or could you take a break? I take amitriptyline in the evenings along with herbal sleep tablets to help me sleep. I know how hard it is when you’re not getting enough sleep and feel fatigued already so I think it’s really important to get your sleep sorted to be able to manage school. Also taking restorative rest during the day can help if there’s a quiet place you can go to be on your own or listen to a guided meditation. Little things like drinking enough water, taking b12 vits and not drinking caffeine or eating anything sugary also helped me. I hope this helped at all 🙂
