Need help with family welfare situation

I'm really reaching out for massive help. I'm going to try to make this as short and sweet as I can. (By the way I'm single) Long time abusive relationship between grandparents of my daughter. They really might split and gram might move in with me. I'm on welfare and I don't think gram can get unemployment just because how it happened... I just know. Trying to get her on SSD I think Social security disability, but it's a lo g process. I literally just began. If she does move in with me does anyone know about if she should get on welfare or she would be my dependent so my stuff would increase. I am on welfare she's always made enough money and she is getting a pension but I know it's not enough. She only had about 18mo from retirement. she's only 59 1/2. It's really a long story and changes a bit at times. I don't think she's ever very straightforward about what happens, she's a drunk, that should explain that. I really don't know how any older stuff works or the ins and outs of welfare. please I need help of course I can't consult welfare about this, that would not benefit me at all.
