I have my first rhuem appointment later this month to try to get formally diagnosed with hEDS. Any tips/advice?

      Write every single strange thing that's happened to your body over the years down before you go, absolutely all of it, don't let them rush you, as others have said don't go in saying you think you have this, doctors egos are fragile, present everything to them calmly and suggest it if it doesn't come up

      I would go in with a list of symptoms, and do not ask for a specific diagnosis right away. See what they say and if EDS doesn’t come up, then I would ask if they think EDS fits. A lot of times if you go in and ask about a specific disease right away it looks like you are making up your symptoms to fit that disease.
