Making Friends and Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

It's hard to get along in life, for me. Understanding people? Yeah, not even. Relating? Pipe dream. It's hard to understand and relate to people who don't know what you're going thru. I look at other people and wonder how they get along without the voices in their head or seeing the things I see. It makes them alien.

I pretend like I'm not schizophrenic. I smile give friendly answers and try to mingle at gatherings my boyfriend takes me to all the while I'm screaming on the inside. I have no friends. My boyfriend likes that about me because I never have anyone over to our place and I'm always available for him. But I wish I had someone to connect with.
