      Have you ever learned about attachment styles? It sounds to me like you could have one of the insecure attachment types. I don’t know if you’ve heard of them before, but psychologists have been researching them for years, so they aren’t just another personality typing system or something like that. I’ve had a similar experience with relationships that you are describing and learning about attachment theory was very insightful for me.

      i think im too scared to let myself get attached to anyone in fear of abandonment so i prevent myself from forming a connection with them even if i want to. i only have like one friend that lives near me and i started taking to them when i was young and go through months without seeing my partner because they can get distant. either way i think ill always feel disconnected from people
