I've recently learned of my neurodivrgents and it has hit me like a wall. It's strange to come to terms with the fact that my mind is like the expensive multi-verse. I've always been told I'm just lazy and that I make up that fact that I forget but now it's different. I can't tell if it's a good different. Does anyone have tips to come to terms with a diagnosis?

Hi! I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 9. Luckily for me, that meant that I grew up with a knowledge of my neurodivergency. I know for others it isn't the same. But through personal experience I can tell you that this diagnosis can be a wonderful thing! It can help you understand yourself better. I recommend talking with your doctor or provider about your diagnosis and asking for credible sources online to learn more about neurodivergency. There's a lot of information out there, even tips and tricks to utilize how your brain works for your benefit! Here for you if you want to talk anytime!
