3 weeks ago I asked my boyfriend of 7.5 years to leave. I think I allowed our relationship to play out because I didn't want to be alone. I have been battling depression for 12 years and there's a peace about him being gone. But I also miss his presence. Am I losing it?

Its normal to miss someone that you've been with for a long time. At the same time that feeling will go away. I've made decisions to stay because I didn't want to feel lonely and I was miserable, I wasn't truly happy until I left them.

Thank you, I was losing it and that was the best way to protect myself. I kinda feel selfish because he lost a home while out of work and a place to bring his children on the weekend.

šŸ¤— No. It's the process of change that makes you feel that way. Good for you for making that move. That's a huge undertaking.
