My depression is improving but my memory loss is not. I am frequently forgetful and have an extremely difficult time recalling most events as recent as a few days ago. If someone prompts me, I am more likely to remember, but it's usually foggy. Important/significant events are usually easier to remember. Emotional events are usually much harder to remember. They are often mostly blocked from my memory. My point is, I'm a young person. I was told that my memory difficulties and brain fog were depression symptoms, but as my depression improves, my memory is still bad. Could this have to do with my symptoms of dissociation?
