You definitely should find out if it’s the XR or regular because XR stays in your system longer which could contribute to the extended sleepy feeling. I take my XR after dinner and regular release at bedtime cause I was having trouble staying asleep after taking regular release so they split it up so the XR helps me stay asleep and regular release helps me fall asleep. If your dose is not XR you may just be on too much because everyone’s body is different and some people are more sensitive to the medication so they don’t require as high of a dose as others. Good luck! I hope this helps and things improve! 😁

you should probably talk to your doctor about lowering your dose... mine told me to take anywhere from 50-200 mg as needed for sleep -- I'm bipolar, so I need different amounts based on what state I'm in at that time. I'm not sure if that same logic would apply for you, but its worth asking your doc to try different doses

Is that 200 mg and XR?? (Extended Release) & is that the initial starting dose?
