Zoloft was great for me since I was 18 but this year it started giving me wild brain fog and I had to switch. Itās crazy that it can just change after so long š

ABILIFY - i didnt even last three days before i just stopped taking it, everything was so bad

@dearestdoe what was it like for you? I've been taking abilify since it first came out, about 20 years ago. It's the main medication that keeps me sane.
Wellbutrin
@Lin92 Made me into she hulk. I was in a mental facility, they put me on lithium, and my reaction was to throw a tantrum. I ripped out a metal desk that was bolted into the wall and floor and used it to barricade myself in my room. Good times

Abilify ... made me lose it to the point I attempted something that I may have had thoughts about but never do
Iāve been treated since I was 18 for my mental health but we knew I had problems since I was 6 years old i have taken almost every medication for mental health my psychiatrist is at a loss right now of how to help me but for me the one that was the worst was clozaril it gave me such bad migraines and did nothing for me at all. Also it ended up making me worse with paranoia for my schizophrenia. Just awful experience that I wouldnāt wish on anyone.
Haha you all named all the ones I tried that didn't work for me! I'll add Vistaril though.
i forgot how to spell it but itās pronounced ā simbulltah ā i had non stop nose bleeds
@phia1111 that was my first one. Awful.

EFFEXOR AND EFFEXOR XR screw that med, ruined my life
Vraylar. I felt horrible. I have restlessness and it just multiplied it by like 100. I was rocking back and forth violently most of the time i was on it. And it took a bit to get out of my system. I'm sure it would work great for other people but it wasn't for me.
@mmm YESSS OMG i had the exact same experience
@mmm oh my gosh! That stuff is awful!
@joyjoytsak At the time I was misdiagnosed, 3 months postpartum, and new ro taking meds so idk if that had anything to do with it? It's definitely made me hesitant to try any antipsychotics. Also there was a problem with the pharmacy and I had to pay $400 for a whole new bottle after I stopped taking it.
100% Risperdol. It gave me a pregnancy scare bc I started lactating and I missed my period after an... eventful... Valentine's weekend. The whole experience was terrifying.
Zoloft is the worst medication Iāve ever been on! But Effexor XR saved my life. Itās interesting how meds affect each individual so uniquely
There is one medicine I will REFUSE for the rest of my life: Effexor XR. I was on it as a teenager. Sometimes my mother would forget to refill it and I'd go into withdrawal. I didn't even know what it was called back then. I just knew that it felt like electricity racing from one side of my brain to the other and that I *hated* it.
@abnormal yep!!!
