My brain is starting to FP someone I've known for over 3 years, and I've been perfectly okay with how our relationship has been. I was just about to panic and cry and puke cuz he didn't say goodnight the right way. WTF wtf wtf. I don't want this to happen. It's gonna ruin EVERYTHING! all the beautiful progress I've made in building healthy relationships out the window!

Edit: FP is favorite person. In BPD and similar, a favorite person is the center of our world and the slightest change in behavior can set us off.

What does FP mean? What is the right way to say goodnight? It's okay hon. No damage has been done.

@cafe.contigo favorite person. It's an extremely irrational and unhealthy attachment to a person. When I said good night I got a kiss emoji in return. It triggered me. I didn't react which is good, and he ended up writing back a goodnight. But I almost puked over the whole ordeal.
