Seeking advice on Fibromyalgia diagnosis

I was diagnosed in 2016 by a rheumatologist.. my current rheumatologist confirmed again the same this a few weeks ago.. but she says my primary care doctor could treat it.. so I’m assuming they should be able to diagnose it as well I’m not sure.. but I think the first step would be to see your primary care doctor and then they will refer you if needed …

a rheumatologist or a neurologist can diagnose it, but you'll probably be sent to a pain management specialist for treatment, and those people usually specialize in a neurology-related field
