@lexzeepoo it's not that there's nothing on your mind, for me at least, I don't get bad intrusive thoughts, my mind isn't racing, and it's easier to relax, it settles my anxiety a bit

I was just prescribed 25 mg. Seroquel. Nervous to start it though cuz not sure what it will feel like to have nothing on my mind when trying to fall asleep. Could someone give me some kind of an idea? I know everybody is different of course. Thanks
Be careful. I got addicted on 800 but went cold turkey and had 3 really bad weeks. Now I'm on 400 but I seem to have a resistance now to its more negative effects.
I take 100 for sleep and I’ve gotten sooooo fat. Like 40 lbs since I started taking it

I take 450 mgs of seroquel. It has been a long time since I have only taken 25 mg. For me, seroquel was a life changer/life saver. I can function now. My emotions no longer change 40 times an hour, I don't hear 3 songs at once in my head anymore, and more. I take it at night. Did I gain weight? Sure but honestly that isn't important to me. The benefits outweigh any weight gain.

I went into severe withdrawal trying to come off and on top of that couldn't sleep at all.

@museic Yea it'll take years to get off a high dosage of it and months for a low dose. I ran out of mine for 3 days and it gave me severe nausea. Definitely recommend being very careful with seroquel

Good drug. Low dose at night

I'm currently on 300mg seroquel, I use it to help me sleep and calm my mind before bed. It is a hard medication to get off of, but everyone will have different experiences with it

I was on seraquel for about six months when I was 15 and I absolutely /hated/ it. It made me feel stupid, super sleepy, I couldn’t create anymore. I hated it so much. It did crap to my blood sugars (I’m diabetic) and I couldn’t wait to get off it.

@Scullyitsme how did you get off of it? I can't seem to accomplish that.
@museic well I tapered myself off and then told my doctor I had stopped taking it 😅😅
I take 75 MG for sleep and anxiety. I hate it. I can't seem to get off of it. It messes with my body temp. I've gained weight.
