Yes, absolutely. Remember that for most survivors some, or most, of our symptoms can change over time. Where you are now is not where you will always be. And depression always lies.

I have it along with anxiety and being suspicious of people I love. I can’t stand it.

@Dawnelle I have as well, and I'm 8+ years into my TBI. Suspicious that my family doesn't love me and they were doing things for me (spending time with me, buying me presents for the holidays, etc) because they feel bad for me. I've learned it's only my psychosis, but it's hard when I've been suspicious for years.

@Dawnelle it’s interesting about feeling suspicious of people you love. I have felt that way too.

For a long time I had no emotions. The only time I’d cry was when my brain was seriously overstimulated. I appeared frustrated when I was being pulled in multiple directions. But I personally didn’t feel emotionally agitated. Last year I put so much focus into healing that I would say I now experience a normal range of emotions. But with how much my life change I did experience a lot of grief which could trigger depression. Exercise and get the blood flowing as much as possible. NUCCA chiropractic helped tremendously! I take lots of supplements to help support TBI healing. You’re not alone. Hang in there!
