I have high-functioning depression that I have struggled with for years. Over the past few years I have struggled in survival mode due to some major life changes (death of a parent, end of 13 year relation, job loss due today COVID) and currently feeling as if I have hit my bottom. Due to the nature of my current job, I am currently constantly feeling empty and make attempts to make myself feel better with unhealthy coping mechanisms. This has left me financially unstable. Since I am able to perform my daily tasks at a reasonable level, my providers don't recommend med changes yet I am left in a constant state of anxiety and sadness.
