Syra my daughter came out to me 6 years ago as pansexual. I am very open and supportive of my daughter how she feels who she feels it for. I want her to be comfortable with who she is. My ex husband is not so supportive and makes disrespectful comments about the LGBTQ+ community. My daughter gave him multiple chances to show her he is worthy of her confession and he failed. She isn't speaking to him currently but still holds out hope. I'll tell you like I told her. If they are disappointed in you then that is their problem not yours. They are only disappointed because they had expectations of you that they had no right to impose. They disappointed themselves for you. Who you choose to love is your choice as long as it doesn't bring harm. I had hopes and white picket fence dreams but I never said the person had to be a man. I want grandkids from her and I told her that but I never said that it had to be only one way. The life I dreamed for my daughter can still come true just a new twist now. I don't know your full situation but I do know that you must be who you are whoever that might be because those who mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind. I hope that you find the acceptance you're wanting and needing. If not I'm accept you just as you are. Just stay "HAPPY"!!! 🥰
