TW: religion/spirituality + mortality I hate being so into medical stuff sometimes, especially when I'm trying to connect with spirituality and the consent of an afterlife I completely believe that we are more than our bodies, that there's a driving life-force to all living things on this earth, but I can't grasp how that would look in an afterlife. Can we still eat? If we eat, is there a need to go to the bathroom? Do we still produce body fluids like blood or snot. Can I still cry? All these little details people leave out of their beliefs are what eat me up. If the summerlands is real, and it's full of grassy plains, does the grass still contain its spirit? Does it consist of all the grass I've encountered in my lifetime? Is it the grass where happy memories occurred? And physical objects that may be present. Are they recreations of what I had, or are physical things brought into the spiritual world so that I can enjoy hobbies? It says in many readings of the summerlands that you may interact with other spirits close to you. But it also says that spirits from different levels of the summerlands may not interact. Is there an exception to that rule? Like if you're a soulmate with that person (referring to soulmate in a platonic way) it doesn't matter the level due to the strong bond? I'm not sure. Religion and spirituality is so confusing and condescending. It hard to believe that there isn't some sort of higher being/s helping us out, but it's also hard to believe that there is. all I gotta say is, Bitches be crazy

I think that there's no use in trying to predict the afterlife, or what's there. If there is grass in the after life what does that mean for you now? It's okay to wonder, but it becomes a problem when these thoughts become overwhelming, and keep you from living in the moment. I think we should focus on the life we are living right now, and if there is a god, a good god, I think it will forgive me for living my life instead of a life that may or not be to come.
