What is your best coping mechanism for when you feel like you're about to split? I am scared to let people get too close to me because I'm scared I'll split on them and I don't want to do that to people, but it's starting to get lonely so I need to figure out how to solve it.

      With my close friends family and fiance communication is key I usually say I feel like I'm about to split and I do things that calm me down sometimes my fiance will cuddle me. I'll take deep breaths. Or for r myself to lay there till I feel better. Another things that really helps focus on someone else focus on maybe a little niece or nephew it cousin write them a note make them feel good. Really watch your thought patterns take note and even when you feel the slightest bit uncomfortable stop what your doing and listen to what your gift needs I need to step out I need 20 minutes alone fight fight so the hard things become easy they always do

      there are free DBT worksheets online, i found a few on reddit r/DBTWorkshop or something like that?

      Unfortunately DBT isn't an option for me due to where I am located as well as insurance issues, it's definitely something I've looked into though.

      Ps. Believe me, I still have a tremendous time with figuring this out and I have done DBT four times and have had the diagnosis for 15 years
