has anyone else dealt with being fakeclaimed by people who either have DID/OSDD or at least believe it exists? we've been fakeclaimed so many times like this for reasons that include ▪︎being polyfragmented ▪︎being comprised of mostly introjects ▪︎having poc alters when the body is white ▪︎and more! Like hello please just leave us alone

@Eren2273 yeah, ofc I agree. It’s in everyone’s power to stop perpetuating dynamics

our specialist says that people who fake claim are projecting shame, not only from personal experiences but societal shame, onto others (either to reenact abusive dynamics or to appear as a golden minority / as “one of the good systems”)

@nymz Their reasoning doesn't matter though, they're still attacking someone. There's no excuse for doing that

@nymz It literally doesn’t matter what other people do as long as it isn’t harming anyone or perpetuating abusive or bigoted dynamics on anyone, in my onion

YES! We're also polyfragmented and introject heavy. I would like to say that alters can't identify as POC in a white body, they're just dark-skinned :)
