Omg it's exhausting! I hate having conversations with people where they say "oh same I have insomnia it takes me like an hour to fall asleep" or saying "just try melatonin or turning off your phone" and I don't want to invalidate other people's experiences but ITS NOT THE SAMEEE ๐ it takes me at least 5 hours to fall asleep on a good night and I regularly just don't sleep at all for over 24 hours or more and it's just ridiculous... How would me turning off my phone help this ๐ also the implication that I just haven't tried anything? My doctor recommended over the counter sleep aids recently despite me being diagnosed since I was a preteen.... Like why wouldn't I have tried that yet

@Belleromeo I know it's frustrating. Wouldn't it be nice if you could go to bed and be asleep in just ONE hour! Nothing more frustrating than laying awake for 8 hours and not getting any sleep. I also hate the advice of "Get up until your tired",like dude I've been awake over 30 hrs, I guarantee you I'm tired!
