hi, i wouldn't say i have an eating disorder, im a healthy weight and eat regulary, but my meal plan is rigid, once its planned it cant be changed, my brother will be want to get take away but i cant because its not on the plan and food shopping is horrible if they dont have all the ingredients in. its so stressful because i cant change it. i have worked out the calories and they cant change. Does anyone else have this problem? i feel like it might be related my starve, excessive exercise and then binge routine which i did through high school and uni before i dropped out. Sorry for any punctuation and spelling mistakes im typing this on my phone instead of sleeping because my meal plan was interupted by having to gobto the offer holder day earlier due to surgery i have scheduled

Hey friend! I had an ED in middle/high school and it is taking years to recover. It sounds like you struggled with that before, but maybe not as intensely now. I think it would be classified as disordered eating. Having rules around food and being rigid can be so exhausting and so hard to break. I went through treatment with a dietician a few years ago and it helped - but when I get stressed I turn back to rules and rigidity. I totally get it. Grocery shopping is still stressful for me at times. You're not alone! I'm happy to chat if you send me a message :)

It seems like you might be experiencing some rigidity and stress related to your meal planning, which could be connected to your past eating habits. It's important to address these concerns with a therapist or a professional who can help you navigate through these issues and find a healthier approach to meal planning and flexibility.
