Um, hello! I wanted to ask if communication cards would be helpful for someone who struggles with social anxiety, and expressing emotions. I’ve always had a hard time with describing how I’m feeling when talking out loud, and I was wondering if they would help me express my feelings more fluently to others in the long run. 🙁

what’s helped me with my social anxiety a little bit at a time is texting. i’ve found it much easier for me to talk through texts or writing. it always been my voice. whenever i wanted to chat with a close friend about something personal i’d write it out on my phone or notepad and read it off to them to help make myself feel more comfortable over time about speaking up more. my best friend helped me start this so i do it with all my close friends since. and i’ve caught myself several times now after doing it for a couple years that i tend to continue to talk now and have a conversation about what i brought up. and it’s made me feel a bit more comfortable lately coming up to people and talking to them. but obviously it will take lots of time but i’ve finally see improvement. i hope this helps >.< 💕

I've been thinking about getting communication cards for my selective mutism. I also struggle with social anxiety and that's not a bad idea tbh.
