Music or a bath. Sometimes I take a walk when I feel one coming on.
But I haven't had anyone for a trustful conversation with in many many years.
@Lyss9109 we can be friends :) snap me dogmom2591
I'm on prescribed meds for anxiety, I've tried all the different over the counter one. 5HTP is the only over the counter I found helpful and it just helped me sleep. I'm fine while I'm going non-stop but it's when I'm alone mostly at night when I lose control. It's taken several days before I can even function again. All the symptoms, side-effects and issues anxiety causes that really effects me. Physical signs from turning bright red and sweating all the way to seizures and uncontrollable facial movement. I refuse to let people see me like that. I've been accused of drug over doses and stds from my anxiety. Open mouth sores to gi problems. I had false teeth at 26 from clenching so much I shattered my teeth. Anxiety physically takes over and controls my health.

Drawing and painting help me
Learn to recognize the warning signs (if any, sometimes they truly come out to nowhere). Use self talk/self reassurance, i.e this is an anxiety attack, I’ve been through this before and I will get through this- combine this with deep breathing & grounding techniques. Helpguide.org is a great website to find self help techniques. Anxiety attacks are scary but it’s 100% possible to take back control if you learn good coping skills to manage them.
A bath helps calm me down, pr a good tv show will distract me
