I keep having crying fits because of my sensory issues. I keep itching and I can't make it stop I've tried lotion and a humidifier, but nothing ever helps. is there anything I can do to make it a little easier?

If it gets to the point of itching your skin raw, I would recommend going by a doctor for at least skin treatment options. I totally relate with you tho and I have a lot of those sort of habits that come with sensory issues, some bad some good. I would say to get something to fidget with and maybe draw away from itching. If it’s bc of clothing, ditch the clothes. If you aren’t, wear a long sleeve shirt or pants to prevent itching direct skin. If it’s a genuine feeling like you’re itchy, it could be something else and then I would recommend going to a doctor as well. I hope you’re able to find something that slows or stops it! These are also steps in reducing those crying fits because as for autism, you have to make sure you’re comfortable to the best of your ability, and it seems at least stopping the itching would be a good first step :)
