Does Aspirin Help with Intestinal Inflammation?

I've found that NSAIDs like aspirin and ibuprofen make me feel terrible. They tend to make my stomach pain worse (granted I have gastritis too which nsaids make a lot worse) but they also make me bleed worse with my bowel movements. My doctor recommended Tylenol for help with pain, and I use a heating pad too.
