I’m so sorry that happened, but thanks for sharing and don’t be afraid about feeling those things. Actually going through the motions with those emotions helped me a lot when my friend passed away a few years ago. Stay strong and always reach out for help when you need it.

My mom passes a year and couple months ago. Our relationship was rocky and it was until the day she passed. There's a lot of unresolved problems and fights I've never get because of what everyone keeps telling me was a 'heart problem'. All I have now is nightmares or dreams of her gaslighting me and making me feel like she did when she was alive.
