@XCxsmic.CalamityX Zofran does help me sometimes, but promethazine helps me more, but ultimately what reduces the vomiting is going to the ER and getting IV fluids or rehydrating with Pedialyte

so I can't prescribe you anything because I'm not a doctor. But maybe talk to your doctor about miralax it's a liquid that tastes like mint and you take it and it numbs your whole digestive system. And also maybe try compazine. So I have a trick which I found out from multiple trips to the hospital and having to stay because of how dehydrated I get. So yes going to the ER helps but what if you could afford going to the hospital altogether... So once hospital trip a nurse and I were talking and they were saying how their professor in college was telling them that drinking apple juice and you are sick and puking actually is way better for you than just drinking straight water. The reason being apple juice better is because every nutrient thing about apple juice your body will absorb versus like just water for instance you'll pee out water way faster than you pee out apple juice because your body is absorbing all the nutrients that it needs. Like the sugars the water and any other nutrients from apple juice. And since apple juice is water-based it is giving me water intake also but I would say sit on it don't guzzle it. It will only help if you take it slow

You can try taking a warm shower or bath or putting a heating pad on your tummy 💕. Just make sure if you're taking a shower you aren't standing and if you are, have someone with you so you don't faint and injure yourself, ik I do when I'm going through it 😥💕

I agree with kthedragon. Zofran is a huge help! I get the dissolvable kind so I don’t have to swallow a pill when I’m not feeling well

Zofran saved my life- I take it whenever I feel nauseous and it stops it right away. Ondansetron also works for me :) gets rid of that gross pukey feeling

@kthedragon ondansetron is Zofran hun. Ondansetron is just the scientific name for it. I also know compazine works for me and Altoids the original is a great help I can go through a tin every like 3 days in an episode. How long does your episodes last? My longest was 2 weeks and my shortest is like 2-3 days. I would have to go in at least once a month for two years before I was diagnosed with CVS because I would get soo dehydrated that it was dangerous for me to go home and do it myself. It doesn't help that my kidneys don't like me much either. So that makes it harder for me with CVS.
