I used to be so addicted to burning hot showers. I could sleep a lot better at night as nothing would be itchy and I finally felt like I could relax. It was such a bad vicious cycle. I only recently got out of the cycle but I relapsed a lot before I properly stopped. Even now I still get urges to jump in the shower and burn the itches away

I’m the opposite the hot is the worst thing for my skin so I constantly use ice packs the heat makes me itch really badly
I had eczema too, I use E45 or Aveeno cream but I use E45 really useful anything types like itchy, eczema and more everyday but sometimes I use Aveeno cream only eczema so yeah I use both
@Hafs I'm currently using epimax oatmeal cream. I used e45 when I was younger and then epaderm (might be the same thing I'm not sure). But I found the epaderm made my skin a bit more itchy even though it hydrated. Epimax works better for me as it is thin, not cakey, doesn't make me itchy and also hydrates very well. I haven't had to moisturise every day since I've used it

Same. Still working on breaking the cycle though. I have eczema and psoriasis and those that don’t have one of the conditions have no idea what it’s like to not be able to sleep because your skin hurts.
@MiscAmy and waking up every half hour because you scratched your skin off your leg or smthn :((
