I am currently on ropinerole for my RLS. IT was increased to take 4 tablets per day if necessary because it started afflicting me early in the day ...not just at night. Does anyone have any remedies or tricks that seem to help?

Generalized pain

Dopamine

Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)

Tramadol

Ropinirole

Pramipexole

I have found that the pain relieving cream sore no more reduces my symptoms enough that I can function during the day and sleep at night. I also massage my legs while applying it.

it works very well for me. I’ve been taking it for about 15 years. I just made the change from 1 AM/1 PM to 1 noon/1 PM and so far, so good.

I was prescribed ROPINIROLE HCL 0.5 MG TABLET and it didn't work for me. So I was put back on PRAMIPEXOLE 0.5 MG TABLET which I cut in half because I also take NEUPRO 2 MG/24 HR PATCH patch 24 hour. I knock out and get better sleep with that combination.

You are suffering from augmentation. Which basically means that the more you take the worse it gets. All dopimine medications can cause it as well as Tramadol. Look up augmentation from dopimine meds. Then take that info to your Dr or search for a neurologist that specializes in RLS. The neurologists at Jihns Hopkins have a lot of information out about it and how to treat it. The longer you're on it the harder it is to do it. I had augmentation from Tramadol and I found an RLS specialist neurologist 2hours away from me. It's been a year and a half since I was switched to a different med and the difference was night and day. I went from having it basically all day and night from head to toe literally sleeping in a hot bath to get some relief to only having symptoms very rarely and only in my calves. I hope you can find someone soon to help.
