Looking for Experiences with Lamotrigine

I've been on it for almost 2 years now and it's prevented me from having a depression episode but it doesn't prevent a manic episode. I've been in and out of manic since April of 2020.

I take it as well for my bipolar 1. It makes me zone out for a while and then I get really tired. It calms me down alot.

I love it! Keeps me from crying all day or being violently angry!

Thank you! I was hoping that was the case. How long did it take to get the full affect?

I’ve been on lamotrigine for years and I love it! It has completely changed my ability to do things and I rarely have mood swings now and when I do they are more “normal”
