I filled out this information to talk about being a caretaker for a T1D child. I manage this account and wanted to ask about using correctional doses of insulin. She is on 12 morning 6 evening and recently we have been going to events she cannot eat many things at.

For the correctional dosages, i'd recommend talking to her Endo. But for the events, i recommend bringing a bag with you guys wherever you go. In mine i keep candies that done melt easily, a source of protein to help keep the blood sugars up, and having any extra supplies you may need in case something happens. Like if one of you forget to bring something. But i definitely push for you to keep snacks on her person and in any vehicles you may take/
