feeling so incredibly alone that I don't know what to do. I feel trapped, tethered to this place and this earth in ways I can't explain. this app is supposed to find people who know what you're going though, but guaranteed my situation is unique. this is just a vent idk/:

I don’t know if this is the same, but I felt so alone and that I would be trapped at my abusive mother’s house forever. She isolated me badly and I also did it myself. I had no phone, I was convinced all my new friends at school were out to get me (we just moved), and I just lived in my room and hardly moved or ate for about 2 years unless she forced me to do something. I wish love to you and I’m always here to talk!

Luckily I’ve been out of that situation for a couple of years now. I did have another incident happen to me recently, but I’m on the road to recovery and generally try to have a more positive outlook on life. I don’t know your situation, but I’m sorry you are having to go through with breaking up with a SO. I know I had one that I was convinced I was going to live the rest of my life with and they cut it off once I was forced to move and I was heartbroken. Honestly, a small part of me still gets beaten up and it’s been 4 years since I’ve last consistently seen or talked to them. I will say, if you are stuck were you live, please try not to isolate as much as possible and only do it when you absolutely need it. I don’t know if you are living with someone or yourself, but especially with other person forcing you to be there, isolation is their control. If you are living alone, isolation is still a control over you. Only use it when you absolutely need it to put yourself back together again on your own time. Also try and find something to look forward to. I like to go to a coffee shop on my day off from work with my roommate and play scrabble and Uno with him. It could be a favorite food, or a game you could play after doing an errand or something! Look for the small things in life if you can. I hope that I was able to help you a little bit!
